The man behind Buffy the Vampire Slayer's theme song is slowly destroying my mind. See, Parry Gripp of Nerf Herder didn't just write one catchy song- he writes MANY CATCHY SONGS. Songs that lurk about your subconscious, quietly hiding in the shadows and then BAM! "Spaghetti Cat- I weep for you!" Leaping out at unexpected times to surprise and delight you ("Last train to Awesometown!")- or, depending on where your head is at, annoy and aggravate you ("Hamster on a piano eating popcorn on a piano").
Somewhere between Internet memes, Saturday Night Live Shorts and Weird Al Yancovich, Parry Gripp's short video clips are visual punk rock. Actually, they kind of remind me of They Might Be Giants, and, just like TMBG Parry Grip releases a song a week. The short songs are pretty much safe for kids too, which is cool.
